Overall I thought that portfolio day was a success. I was only able to talk to two schools, which were the School of Visual Arts in New York and Pratt. I received good feedback from both schools. The admissions person for The School of Visual Arts told me that I should contact him during February for help with obtaining scholarships. The man from Pratt told me that my work was interesting and that I had a great portfolio but that he wanted to see more work from observation. He told me that if I attended Pratt that I would be ding a lot of work from observation, which I don’t have a problem with. I was a little bummed out because I didn’t have a chance to get reviewed by the School Museum of Fine Arts, though I suppose it’s fine because I got a review when they came to visit.
